For those of you who are still using retinol as your anti-wrinkle product, we at Bare Skin Care have updated to retinaldehyde, which is now in our Bare Skin Care "A" Serum.

Retinaldehyde has long been considered superior to retinol in both effectiveness and less skin irritation, and is the retinoid most similar to the prescription product, Retin-A. Problem was, it was impossible to stabilize - until now. Bare Skin Care has developed a serum in which the retinaldeyhye remains effective.

While Bare Skin Care maintains retinol in our Rejuvenation Serum, we urge you to try our "A" Serum (retinaldehyde), which is a superior product. We consider this such an improvement that we have incorporated "A" Serum in all of our programs, replacing Rejuvenation Serum, which is a retinol product.

"A" serum (retinaldyhyde)

  • performs closest to Retinoic Acid (Retin-A) in a cosmetic topical, providing the ultimate wrinkle reduction and prevention properties to skin while being the least irritating Vitamin A making it perfect for all skin types

  •  A natural UVA-screening compound from sea algae to protect the skin against photo aging

  • Transporter of fatty acids into mitochondria for energy production, increases skin cell turnover, moisturizing, exfoliator

  •  Acts as an anti-inflammatory, promotes wound-healing, reduces sensitivity, alleviates heat while soothing skin irritation.

  •  Skin brightener and antioxidant, potent levels of tyrosinase inhibition

  •  NiacinamideAmide form of Niacin vitamin B3, involved in cellular respiration, lipid synthesis, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, improves epidermal barrier function, inhibits skin pigmentation, smoothing of fine lines/wrinkles
